    EasyApps Can't install in root

It appears i'm unable to install any of the easy apps (well the two i tried) into the web root folder so that the application runs as the intended site and only in a sub folder, I reied moving b2evolution into the root folder but things weren't right and i couldn't access the admin, has anyone had experience of moving these to the root folder (which files need changing etc) or does anyone have any suggestions

    Thanks in advance

I tend to install these kind of things manually by downloading the latest version from the site for the script and installing it according to the installation documentation.

You may also find luck by entering / as the installation location in the cpanel auto-installer instead of specifying a folder.

While moving contents of a folder from there to public_html shouldn't be a problem, you may find the path is placed in the database during the install. You can change this path by using phpMyAdmin to edit it and then you should be ok again with respect to gaining access to the web admin.
