    MySQL

    Hello,

I'm interested in your reselling package, but i have 2 questions.
    1. How many databases can i use in my account?
    2. Is it possible to manage in the WHM subdomains for my clients. I intend to offer hostingpackages with a domainname or with a subdomainname.

    Hi Yvonne,

I'm already a reseller and I *think* the answers are

[1] Unlimited [up to available storage space, anyway]
    [2] Yes.

    - but the reseller accounts were updated this year so the new ones might be different.

I'm sure one of the XILO's can confirm that though ... surprised they haven't answered already, they're usually pretty quick!

    Hi Andy,

Thank you for your answer. Can you also tell me what your experience is with XIlO reselling?

    Re: MySQL

    Very positive!

Server availability has been very good [apart from a very minor glitch a few months back after an upstream change at the data centre] and response to support issues [even ones that have just been down to my own stupidity] has always been swift and helpful.

The only gripe that many seem to have had is a lack of feedback during the initial sign-up process, but I think they've been working hard to improve this.

Reseller tools are excellent, and you can set up new accounts in minutes - but with plenty of options for tweeking and customising.

And I think the value for money speaks for itself!

    PS

Honestly, I am completely impartial and not in the pay of XILO ... but if you wanna give me a discount, guys ...

    Yvonne,

Yes - you will do, however, most interface with cPanel nicely.

We personally use ModernBill which is nice but can be rather complex.

AWBS is very nice, much cheaper and easier to install. We can supply discounted licences for this.

Finally, there is ClientExec, however, we have never used it

    Re: MySQL

AWBS looks nice. A final question. I already have a domainname which i should have to transfer to yours. I can change the DNS Name servers myself. How long should it take before my account is active and how the Private Nameservers be realised.

    Re: MySQL

    Yvonne,

If you move the domain to us, we can speed up setting the private nameservers.

Can you tell me what kind of domain it is? a .uk or other?
